movements after meals

my little chap always has a REALLY good wriggle after I've eaten something.. I mostly notice it after a proper meal but he's the same after I've had a snack (but slightly less wriggly).

I can't work out why.. does anyone know. I can't believe my blood sugar changes that quickly and gets to him, but I'm also not sure how close to my tummy he is (where the processing is happening) for him to be disturbed by that.

It doesn't bother me.. infact tonight I have a date with my DH after dinner to see if he can feel him moving, but I just wondered why!

thanks
katy

always wondered too! Think it must be all the gurgling coming from your tummy, as it's quite noisy in there...

I get this too - if nothing else, it's a good excuse to keep eating when you think baby's being a bit quiet Grin

Yes, I defintiely get this too - I've always thought it's just the activity in your digestive system that wakes them up?

Mine often starts wriggling around before meals, almost as if he/she is getting hungry and demanding food. Great excuse for tucking in!
