Am utterly useless at remembering to take my pill and I know its supposed to be at the same time every day. However - is it ok if you are a few hours out?
Am actually 12 weeks post partum and would love, love love a 4th child but dh and bank account wouldn't like it. Finding it very hard to come to terms with the fact that no 3 is my last baby.....

I conceived on the mini pill. I missed one so went and got the morning after pill. 5.5 years later I'm expecting No 2!

this site says the mini pill has to be taken at precisely the same time every day or it loses its effectiveness.

I was prescribed the mini pill after having DD - the doctor very much stressed that it had to be taken at the same time every day, and I was so crap at taking them, that as soon as I stopped breastfeeding I went back on to the pill I had been on before.

How much hours is "a few"? 1? 2? 3? more than 3?

I think the window for taking the mini-pill & it still working is 3 hours away from the time you took it the day before... but it might be more like 1.5 hours away from your usual time.
