Good morning ladies,

I'm 40+2 today and have just had what I think is a 'show'. On wiping myself (sorry for TMI but necessary here) discovered large longish blob of gooey clear d/c..thicker and more gooey than normal d/c. No sign of any blood, not in the least tinged. Is this possibly a show?

Thanks

Sounds like a show to me . Labour could start anytime now, or of course it could take days to begin [yawn]. I'd ring my midwife and let them know.

sound like it to me! have you rung the midwife?
My show happened a couple of days before actual labour started, btw.
Good luck - don't hesitate before calling your midwife!!!

yes that sounds like a show. there might be some blood later...
fingers crossed...

Mine started about 13 hours after my show.

suzywong · 28/11/2005 09:46

thats's the one

Mine looked like a giant peeled black grape.

Came out at 38weeks as I crouched down to put ds1's shoes on, he trod in it. ds2 stayed up there another 2 weeks.

Agree about ringing your midwife especialy at your gestation
