Anyone else feeling a little-big bit excited!! :)

I can't wait to meet our little boy... It's ruining my sleep because every little twitch makes me jump...but nothing as yet...

Anyone else overdue or coming up n getting nervous?
I've been completely overwhelmed by how many people are texting and calling to see if theres been any news... hes technically not even late until tomorrow! lol... xxx

Turn your phone off! After two weeks, those well-meaning calls and texts will get serioulsy annoying.

I'm due today too! With baby #1. Have had a few crampy like feelings but no show, no waters breaking (basically nothing I have read about as being a sign labour is on the way!!)

Not too impatient or fed-up yet but am hoping something happens over the next few days...Am trying to make sure I am eating well, drinking lots etc, gives me something to focus on. Have also made some plans for next week so that I have a few distractions.

Am not too nervous, more excited than anything else. Bizarrely looking forward to some pain because that means the bubba is on the way!

I'm due today too! Have had lots of non bloody shows yesterday and today but nothing else.

Has everyone's baby's head engaged now? I have a sweep booked Monday too....would love to know whether u ladies are waiting for nature to take it's course or anyone else opting for a good old poke from the MW?

Agree with akmd the contact gets VERY annoying....like people wouldn't know if baby had arrived????!! Grrrr!

Over a week overdue. Had a sweep Wednesday and another booked for Monday. Really hope baby comes before that though! not fed up, just worried i might end up having to be induced

I was due Thursday, had a sweep wednesday, had show Thursday night and have had nothing more, not really any twinges to right home about or that hang around for long! Midwife due again today for another sweep. When she did the one on Wednesday, she said that I was 1cm (means nothing a friend stayed like that for over a week!!) and my cervix was really soft, so I took it as things were moving. How wrong was I!

Get a lot of pressure in pelvis in waves from his head.

Agreed on the phonecalls. If my step dad rings one more time to ask if I'm ok, I'm going to scream!

Not be long now though ladies, at least we all know something HAs to happen within the next couple of weeks.

Woke up contracting this morning...had show (no blood tho) and now I'm either uncomfortable and a little painful due to head in pelvis area or in lots more pain when contracting!!! Not enough to double me over but enough totals death away and have to breath thru.....

Not sure what to think tbh...could be false could be early labour. Either way I'm gutted I had hardly any sleep last night. I'm shattered but ccant drift off with this pain.

I am officially one day overdue now too, was due yesterday the 16th with fourth.

Bit chilled out about the whole thing as I know it has to happen as has been said in the next fortnight, and finding that thought easier to cope with.

Been a bit crampy off on since yesterday. but no show as yet, had shows with others but waters never gone spontaneously that would be kinda nice as this is last baby!

Still hanging on...

Lots of bloody show (sorry i know its gross but we're all going through it), lots and lots of braxton hicks and lots of pelvis pain today but no baby yet :( I was convinced he was coming yesterday but nothing :( I think hes just teasing me and has no intention of coming out! lol

I have started to tell people in a few more certain terms that they will know when he comes and i do not need them helping me to be more anxious and impatient! lol...i know they're just excited too like we are but honestly!

Had my last midwife app today... at 40 weeks 4 days, going to have a stretch & sweep on saturday at 41 weeks and will be booked in for an induction then incase he still doesn't come...

Hopefully he'll come before saturday! We can't wait to meet him and i hear that sweeps are rather painfull :(

I had a sweep yesterday at 40+3. Wasn't going to, wanted to let nature take its course but the midwife asked me and I am too impatient so ended up telling her to go for it!

It was a bit uncomfortable but not incredibly painful. I asked her to check my cervix first because I didn't want to go ahead with the sweep unless my body was ready for it. She said my cervix was soft and effaced and she could feel the baby's head. Felt fine after and had a bit of a non-bloody show this morning. Still waiting though! Have an appointment for Tuesday for another sweep but hopefully wont need to wait until then.

Getting sick of the texts and calls. Am starting to feel fed up!!

I've had 2 now. One by a dainty midwife was fine really the second was my a big burly male one who gave it a real tug!! That wasn't too bad either to be fair but my sore pelvis took the brunt of it today! still bearable tho.

I really thought they would be worse but both were fine really.

Hoping something happens overnight otherwise it's induction time at 8am!
