Am 20 weeks pregnant and suffered severe chest pains from 2.30 a.m -5.45 a.m. It felt like indegestion but the pain was so severe that it felt like I had a knitting needele going through my heart and out of my back. I had shallow breathing throughout and to honest I thought I was going to have a heart attack. (Am a healthy 32 year old). This wasn't acid indegestion because I had that with ds1 and know what that is like. The doc seems to think that it is either stress and aniety because I lead a very hectic life and am not a good sleeper. Or he says it is just pregnancy thing and has ruled out my heart and lungs. The good thing is baby is fine the heart beat was strong but has anybody else suffered this before and if so what explanation were you given? Thanks.
