Holy Cow! It is in the news if you hadn't already seen it. Makes me wince at the idea of carrying one that size, I thought mine kicked like an elephant!

One of mine was 12.11 and I was enormous . I will have to stop mentioning his size now as not as impressive Wink

She had Gestational Diabetes, so i'm not surprised.

Though there was a baby born in Chile that was heavier, iirc.

Good grief. Was her diabetes out of control ? why did they let her go that long ? Mind you weight prediction is very hit and miss. I am a diabetic and they told me that both my ds's were going to be huge. and they weren't !!

Even so Ob, surely there would be some indication of how big the baby was before? Wouldnt she have normally had extra monitoring/scans if she had GD?
