nervous about amnio

i am due to have an amnio on wednesday but starting to have second thoughts. anyone else felt like this?

I had one for my first child 8 Years ago, it is such a hard desicion to make, the percedure it's self i personally found fine bot painful or anything.

I just made sure I rested and rested afterwards literally got in bed and stayed there.

Thankfully all was fine. I really hope it's same for you.

I had one seven years ago. The procedure itself was fine, no more sore than having blood taken. The ladies who carried it out couldn't have been nicer. My only piece of advice is to wear loose trousers. I had only just gone into maternity trousers at the time and was so glad I had because I don't think it would have been nice to have had a tight waistband.

I had an amio and it was fine, if anything I found it more nerve racking waiting for the results (which came back fine by the way).
