It is nigh on impossible for me to ever get to see my midwife (bless her) - if i went to see my GP, do they have the necessary equipment to listen for baby's heartbeat?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Can't see why not, tbh.

Mine always did and prided himself on finding a heartbeat before the midwife could (like at about 8 weeks!)

Mine did a few times, he wasn't very knowledgeable about the baby's positioning though - at that time ds2 was breech - and the GP said the midwife would know better, but he was always able to locate the heartbeat.
