Anti-D side effect (rhesus negative)?

Hey girls,

I had my anti-D injection this morning (am 28 weeks pregnant) and now I have a swollen and sore pea-sized lump in my right armpit (I had the jab in my left arm). I'm OK, just feeling tired and drained, but think that's just because I woke up four times for the loo last night!

Have any of you had this kind of thing after the jab? I'm assuming it's just my glands fighting the new thing that's appeared in my blood? xxx

Never had any side effects. I would call your midwife if you are worried.

I don't remember having those problems, I'd call to ask, it might be a 10% of people reaction or something but better to know.

Thanks guys, I just spoke to my midwife and she said it's nothing to do with the anti-D, just sounds like a blocked duct that won't harm baby. Phew! But I have to go to the GP just to make sure xx
