Feel absolutely rubbish.... Normal?

I'm 8 weeks PG with DC2. I am feeling totally crap. Have spent all day in bed with DH looking after DD as I am so tired. I'm feeling so light headed and have spots in front of my eyes. I don't remember this int last PG.
I've not even showered yet as I have no energy to do anything but lie in bed.
Is this a normal symptom that I was lucky enough to miss last time or should I be seeing GP?

I was debilitatingly tired up to 11 weeks, seemed to be fairly normal. Are you drinking and eating enough?

I'd be concerned about any visual disturbances. If you've been allocated a midwife, I'd give her a call. If not, try NHS Direct or your GP.

spots and lighthead sound like low blood pa. drink lots of water, if you are not eating properly have something with bit of sugar and bit of salt (to retain water). are you getting enough iron? I've been feeling rubbish and lying down a lot too but when i do these things feel better for a bit.

I've been eating and drinking. Although I am sick alot in the morning and evenings. I've been in bed alot today but still feel crappy. It's just not terribly convenient to feel so tired with an 8 month old DD!

Poor you, that sounds really rough. If you are being sick a lot, I am not at all surprised you are feeling rough tbh. I spent 2 weeks in bed unable to lift my head from the pillow with debilitating nausea and tiredness when I was around 8 weeks. I also had low blood pressure. It does seem normal from my experience.

11 weeks today with dc3 and feel crap also. am being lousy mum to ds1 and 2, shouting all the time and generally being foul. I don't remember feeling like this last time round!

Sorry you are all feeling rubbish too but kind of relieved I am not the only one as was starting to feel a bit pathetic. Was sat in Morrisons car park today for over 5 mins as did not have the energy to start the car. 2 samosas straight from the bag kind of helped though Grin

Hi I'm 8 and 4 and sat here in tears I feel so sick, lonely and emotional, this is my second child and I can't remember it being this bad last time. Dp just doesn't understand and is loosing patience with me being so dog tired even though I start work at 6.45 am! My dd is also wondering why I'm lying on the bed when we get in from school. Can't cope with much more of this. Is anyone else's tummy really sore as well x

11+5 days feel exhausted as well and no energy at all. I am off food completely, there is nothing I fancy cannot even open the fridge. I understand how you feel cannot wait for the months to go quick. Good luck.

Only 4 and a half weeks and so tired I could go to sleep under my desk this very moment. I seriously considered trying to have a little nap on the loo floor earlier - ew. Seems it's normal!

Thank you all so much. I went for a scan today as I've been spotting too and all is well so looks like I'm just going to have sone really rough days!
I'm sorry so many of you feel rubbish too but it is quite comforting that I'm not alone.
Hope you all start to feel better soon.
