hello! i'm 35weeks this friday. the past few weeks i have noticed some crampy feeling towards the bottom of my bump. they don't last long at all but they are a little painful. i wasn't sure whether these are braxton hicks as i'be heard they are not meant to hurt?? this does not fill me with confidence about my pain threshold with and my baby's pending birth! so in a round about way i am asking do you think these sound like braxton hicks and is it normal for them to hurt a little or am i a total wuss!! thanks x

Many women describe BHs as "like mild period cramps".
Some women notice very strong sensation, some don't notice them at all, just bump going firmer. There is a lot of variation.

some women find braxton hicks very painful. In my pregnancy with dd2 they would take my breath away at times. Didn't notice them so much in my first pregnancy, so it can vary with the same woman at different times. If your bump is not tightening they may just be 'fixing pains', where the baby is nestling into your pelvis and I think you can see why that may be painful!

My Braxton Hicks weren't painful but they were uncomfortable - if they are BH your bump should go all hard. They didn't feel crampy to me but everyone is different!
