I'm 37+2. I'm wearing very little. (TMI? Well, you don't have to see it...) The door is open. There's a lovely breeze from the rainy air outside. I am STILL BLOODY HOT.

DH is sat in shirtsleeves, jeans, socks, jumper and is moaning that he's cold and wants to shut the door.

AIBU to tell him to just put another jumper on? Grin

AIBU to tell him to stick three hot water bottles under said jumper and inflate his feet three sizes to get SOME idea of why I want him to leave the door open?

YANBU. If he's cold he can go for a gentle jog to the freezer to get you some ice Grin

YANBU.

I firmly believe that when we all go for our 10 week bookin in appointment and get given all those leaflets there should be a special leaflet for partners - "Don't piss of the hormonal, a how-to guide". It basically involves keeping quiet for nine months :o

He can add a jumper, you can't remove a layer of skin.

CBear6 · 05/07/2011 22:24

Urg, excuse my spelling. iPhone + swollen fingers = spelling disaster

buttonmoon78 · 05/07/2011 22:45

YANBU. I never ever sleep without a duvet. Except for the last few weeks. It's so damn hot that I have the occasional trickle of sweat down my back (urgh).

It's far easier for them to warm up than for you to cool down.

Don't Piss Off The Hormonal:

Step 1 - if in doubt, say nothing
Step 2 - Yes, she does still look sexy to you
Step 3 - If you are standing up and she is sitting down, go to the kitchen and return with biscuits and/or tea. It will never go down badly
Step 4 - If she is hot and you are cold, tough
Step 5 - No, childbirth is NOT 'just like having a really big dump'
Step 6 - Yes, you will help shave her legs. No, you will not laugh at the fact she can't even remember what they look like

Step 7 - at no point will you say 'I can't see why you're so worked up' unless you like sleeping in the shed

PrincessJenga · 05/07/2011 23:16

Step 8 - do not even consider eating her food. It is HER food. The quantities she chooses to eat are HER choice.

lolajane2009 · 05/07/2011 23:18

step 8- don't ever tell her... my my aren't you LARGE or she might have to use the extra weight against you
