Swollen and sleepy!

Had a family wedding 500+ miles away on Saturday. Family and I drove there after school on Friday evening (arriving about 1am). Had a busy day on Saturday and then home yesterday (another 10hrs in the car). DH did all the driving.

I am 30wks pg and now have swollen hands (wedding ring is stuck), puffy feet and feel so sleepy.

It is just the travel.....isnt it?

Purely travel! I had this after travelling to and from the the highlands of Scotland. Took nine hours there and nine hours back. I did none of the driving and felt ok whilst travelling but the next three days from when we got back were horrible. I had terrible "all day all night" sickness, which had previously gone, puffy/horrible feet, and felt so tired I could barely do anything.
Stick with it and you'll soon be feeling better.

Just to reassure you it probably is the travel!

Anecdata: Yesterday I went on 3.5 hour walk in the sun (with shady picnic breaks & lots of water) and by the time I was nearly home my hands were puffy. They went back to normal in an hour or so, so I've put it down to just the sun and the walking (probably the sitting down in a car for you!) I'm 30 weeks too :)
