Was your 3rd or 4th pregnancy different to your others?

I'm about 8-10 weeks into my 4th pregnancy. My 2nd was very odd and ended in MC so I've discounted that. I don't know if it's the 3 year time gap and my age but my symptoms seem sooooo different this time around. I'm lots bigger, more tired and sick and very tearful. Would like to hear how your pregnancies compare :)

ooh, also I keep going very hot and then an hour later need a cardi as I'm cold. The weather's really nice and every1 else is warm enough.

I'm also prg with number 4...so diffrent this time...very tired/weepy i have 3 dd's and this is 1st ds so not sure if that has anything to do with it lol..had bags of energy...couldnt stop cleaning/walking moving about in all my previous pregnancies..but feel very drained in this one....not far til my DT now though :D

All of my previous four pregnancies were very similar ie) bad bad sickness, incredibly tired, no energy, very emotional and all were girls! This time round i am no where near as tired or sick etc.

There is no proof to it and some women do experience sickness when carrying boys, but generally i have found with myself, friends and clients that the pregnancies where the mother is totally run down and sick they are carrying girls!

You never know, this could be your explanation! Also dont forget that you are now running around after a small brood of children which can make you far more worn out on its own.

I definately felt worse with my 3rd which was a girl than my 1st (DS) Some1 told me there are more hormones floating around with girls. My family keep teasing that it's twins hence feeling doubly sick n tired.

lol i know.... i had the same joke made in my last pregnancy as i became absolutly massive very quickly. Def couldn't handle twins or triplets when i already have four! Hopefully its just a girl lol - guess you will find out soon enough.x

Im with you on that one! I found out at all my 12 weeks scans as i was too eager to find out the sex - also made it easier for baby shopping lol. Do you have a dating scan booked?

I'm on my 4th and this pregnancy is completely different - even my husband comments on how different I seem this time around when asked by others (as my 3rd pregnancy was awful, and everyone could see it but me, so many of our friends were worried at first).

I'm waiting for my dating scan appointment (another2-4 wks). I could be anywhere from 8-12 weeks I think but was really irregular. Can you find out gender at 12 wk scan now? I had to wait till 20wks with my other DCs

It depends on the hospitals policy if they will do it that early and if they do, they always make it very clear that it is hard to tell for sure at 12 weeks so it would not be 100%, but i asked with all four and with all four they were correct. The sonographer said it has something to do with the angle of the tail bone - if only i could remember what he said i could look for myself this time round lol.
