Can you heamorage (sp!!!) during labour before the baby comes out? before it is anywhere near out?

Don't know but I bled terrifying heavily before mine were out at the beginning and through labour so I guess yes - but would you really want to??

Have become embroiled in a row at work about it.

I started bleeding during labour with DD2 and continued after my emergency c-section - full on PHH. (Also PPH with DD1 but this was an elective section so no bleeding before hand this time.)

Why?
