With dd1 I never had these but this pg I'm 27w+2 with twins and the last couple of days I keep having a tight feeling across my tummy - last night they started building up a bit and I even timed them but went to bed and it all settled. They've started again just now - should I be concerned or is it normal?

Congratulations on your twins!

I had BHs from about 18 weeks: my belly went rock hard, usually originating at the top.of my bump. They weren't usually painful, until near the end when they would push DSs head into my cervix! They'd start off about midday, and would often be about 5 mins apart.

If they're not painful, they're probably BHs, but if you're not sure do ring your MW. Twins might have an additional bearing on things too, so do be cautious.
