I'm 11 weeks and have been thinking today I can feel some little thuds in there. Is it stupidly early? Is it wind?

19 weeks with DS (1st pregnancy)
thought i felt baby around 16 weeks this time (dc2) but definitely feeling propper movement and kicks since 19/20 weeks.
I have an anterior placenta as i did with my first pregnancy also so its harder to feel movement and you dont feel movements till later on.

My friend is pregnant with dc2 and said shes been feeling movements since 10 weeks!!! Shock!

So it probably is baby your feeling! Smile

First time round I felt Dd at about 11/12 weeks.
This time was much earlier, started feeling DC as early as 8 weeks. Currently 12weeks

I am 11 weeks with hopefully my second, (nearly 12) and I started feeling my baby at around 10+4. I didn't think it was the baby, and thought it was just wind or muscle spasms, because I felt DD at 18 weeks, and that felt like "swooshes" or butterflies in my stomach. Anyway, at my 11 week scan at the EPU, baby made an erratic movement on screen and I felt the same "thud" in my lower belly where the sonographer was pressing on my tummy. It was pretty amazing. My "thuds" are all in the lower stomach, so I think what you're feeling is definitely the baby!

Yeh i think mine was around 11 weeks too

MrsVidic · 25/06/2011 06:46

Seriously about 9 weeks thought I was going mad

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 25/06/2011 07:03

Me too though was very scared as thought I was about 8/9 weeks as I hadn't had my scan Shock

philbee · 25/06/2011 19:39

Hooray! Am ashamed to say that i actually forgot i would feel the baby move. I was thinking 'why wasn't i so stressed after the scan last time, surely you still wonder if something's gone wrong.' Duh. Its very reassuring to have those little occasional pops.

1st pregnancy was about 16weeks, this pregnancy about 11weeks little flutters, now 15 + 5 and am getting alot of movements

clairefromsteps · 26/06/2011 10:32

1st pregnancy I felt the ttwins move at about 16 weeks. But I think any flutterings before that I'd just put down to wind. This time round I knew the difference and recognised kicks at about 12 weeks.
