is it ok to have sex after having slight bleeding?

i am 10 weeks and 5 days. i had a slight brown discharge for a week when i was 7 weeks. i had a scan and baby is fine. i have not had sex since as i want everything to be ok. sure my dh is gagging for it by now. should i wait some more or will it be ok to take it easy and have some gentle sex?

Go for it I say Juice, I also bled at 7 weeks, had scan and everything was fine and it was due to the lining of womb still shedding which can be normal. Have you spoke to your GP about the discharge? I am 28 weeks pg and have had sex (not nearly enough for DH but there you go!) throughout and everything has been fine.

Soz - just noticed you had scan too so obviously you have seeked medical attention regarding the discharge. Sounds totally normal to me

well I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks a while ago now. after that I was pg with dd2, we had sex sometime in the first couple of months and I had a bit of bleeding afterwards. the gp advised us not to have sex for the first 12 weeks.
