I am due tomorrow and today have period like pains but they don't seem to following any sort of pattern and are quite constant. Could this be the start of labour?

Could possibly be. I woke up with DD1 with irregular period camps at 5am. They didn't turn into regular specific contractions till 1.30pm and she was born at 10.30pm that night. Day after her due date.

I would put your feet up and rest and good luck if it is your new arrival : )

My labour with DS started with period pains (he was 7 weeks prem though.) I thought they were totally irregular until I actually timed them and found they had a peak every 20 minutes, then 10 minutes....Anyway, my MW told me if you take a nice, relaxing bath and you've still got the pains after, they're probably labour pains, but if they go away as a result of the bath they're probably BH. Wish she'd have told me this earlier, had them for 3 days before finally going to hospital and finding I was in preterm labour!

Fingers crossed for you!

Had an upset tummy and now all pains gone! Never mind I suppose he can't stay in there forever!
