Deep Vein Thrombosis - what to look out for?

Have got a pain in my left shin which worries me a bit as I understand that generally pains in legs and pregnancy aren't a great combination.

It comes and goes, and is more of an ache than a pain, almost as if something has twisted. No redness or swelling. Notice it more if I am sitting still or resting. No pain when walking.

DH sat on the area last night (wanted me to budge up on the sofa so instead of just asking me he simply sat on me) which could be the cause but still am anxious.

Any advice? Am 38+1 by the way.

It doesn't sound like it to me, not that I'm a medical person. But I had a similar worry in my 3rd trimester, though my pain was in the calf, which I think is the more likely location for DVT (?). . and also I'd just gotten off a plane. So I went to the gp, and one thing she did was to measure the cirumference of both of my lower legs to see if they were equal. . .I s'pose if one were much bigger, that'd suggest swelling, which there wasn't. So I think swelling is really a key part of diagnosis, and I also think it'd be more than an ache. But no gp would make you feel silly for going in for a check-up, if that would give you reassurance.

I don't think you necessarily have pain with DVT, any worries I would check with the gp
