Weird upper arm pain

Have resisted googling but can't resist asking mumsnet!

Have a weird pain in my upper left arm, almost like a dead arm feeling, kinda a shooting pain...comes in waves. It also occasionnally goes up to my cheek too, but not often.

Not unbearable but is getting a bit annoying as I've had it all day. Haven't hit it, or slept awkwardly so not sure why I've got it.

Recently I've had a "dead leg" a couple of times (always the right leg) which again I'm not sure if it's linked or not...

Any ideas what it could be?

I have no idea, but didn't want to read and run.

Did you get stung by something maybe and is your arm hot?
Otherwise I would have said that maybe it's a problem with circulation. I seem to be getting lots of tingly hands/arms/legs?

Could you ask your MW, or doctor?

I have this too! I've also got it in my finger on my right hand currently. Really weird!! Was kind of worried about it being in my arm but it seems to go before I think to do anything :S
