How long did it take for you to get a BFP?

Just curious to know how long it took you ladies to see that BFP.
Iv heard some say a day b4 period was due, others the 1st day of your missed period. I am unsure if im pregnant and had 3 BFN just like to hear how far along you were when you tested Positive.

1st pregnancy - 4 days before period
this pregnancy - very light line day of period, no definate line until 3 days after.

3+3 their was a line if you looked at the right angel.

by 3+5 a first responce 6 day early (that can be used 5 day early) test gave a BFP within seconds

Thanks dribbleface with my DS i had a faint line 3 days before my period was due, i tested as i was being sick!!
Im not sure where i am with my cycles as iv had irregular bleeding while on the pill, i came off the pill last month the 11th May.
Had 1 day bleed on the 13th, its now been 33 days since last bleed which could have been just a withdrawl bleed ??
Having symptoms but had 3 negative tests :(
Have to just wait and see.

I got a positive on a CB digital the day after my missed period. I'm usually regular as clock work so had an inkling!

Based on current dates I got my BFP 10 days after ovulation (3+3) on a cheap stick and first response, digital test said pg next day. Was on CD68 of never ending cycle and at stage of POAS every day regularly!

I've just posted an almost identical thread!
I am 4 days late, which never ever happens, and am getting negative results. But, I have very sore boobs. Fairly sure I am pg but was worried by the negative test results. With DD1 I got a BFP the day after my missed period. So, if I ever get a BFP, I'll let you know how many days I had to wait for it. (It just needs to happen SOON - I am killing myself with a mix of barely supressed excitement and worry that it might be a trick by my body, which would be very unwelcome after months of trying.)

Im getting fed up, i was sick twice last week, had headaches on and off, sore boobs just to touch tho and not too bad, discharge and helish cramps which have been there for a week and 5 days now!! Surly if they were period pains my period would be here by now! x

Exactly two weeks!

However, I did a test 3 days before my period was due as I was due to take some progesterone pill to delay a period and it said negative so I didn't bother taking another one. It wasn't until 5 days after getting back from my holiday that I went to the doctor regarding something else and mentioned it to him (that I hadn't come on!). He did a test and it was positive - exactly 5 weeks into my pregnancy.

Now 10 weeks + 5 days (or 11 weeks + 2 days according to my MW)

first 2 pregnancies...bfp of first day of missed af. this pregnancy...no bfp till 20 days after missed af! faint bfps to start with, an inconclusive urine test at the gp, but a strong bfp from a superdrug test today. Hopefully everything is ok.

With ds I had a positive 8 days after missed period

This time I did 3 tests 3 days before af was due and all bfn. 6 days after af was late I got a bfp Smile

Thankyou everyone. I dont know if iv ovulated this month, well havent been using ovulation kits ect, as i only stopd the pill last month and had 1 day bleed not sure if i will have ovulated after that. If i did and it was as they say within 14-16 days after, that would have been 27th 28th 29th May ???
If i was what would be the latest date it should show up by, iv bought 3 tests soo far and just bought another 2 today gonna test again tomorrow morning.

First two times day period due. This time got a CBD positive 5 days before period due.

Thankyou can i just ask blueeyedmonster did it take up to 8 days after your period to get the positive?? Did you test before and get negatives??

If i take it as a proper cycle 28-30 days (not sure coz dont kno where i am with them) Then i would have been due to have a period on the 11th 12th tested today still negative!! :(

Yes it did! I took 3 tests a just before af was due and they were all negative. I just thought that was that but then af didn't appear and I had an feeling that it wouldn't. Held out that long though to give it time to arrive. I'm 9 weeks now Smile

I always assumed you test and the result is conclisive! A friend didn't get a bfp until she was 8 weeks!!

Thankyou!! soo there is still a bit of hope, just wish my AF would show or even better for me to get a BFP soo i know whats going on xx

Did you not get the very faint bfp untill after 20 days after missed period?
