Whole abdomen bruised - normal??

Hello!

I'm 25 weeks and noticed this evening that my abdomen is a uniformly red-blue colour exactly where my bump is. The bump has grown quite a lot suddenly over the past 5 days and has also been moving a lot.

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Is it the baby kicking me that has caused it?

Basically, am I supposed to worry or sit back and sip my (imaginary) margarita?

Any advice/stories MUCH appreciated!

Sorry, no idea, but maybe ask the midwife. Any other pain / symptoms?

It seems to have faded today...pregnancy is a strange thing sometimes! Nevertheless, I'll mention it at my next appointment.
