Hi Does anyone khow if you can ask to see your midwife early if at 4.5 weeks you have already have a bump! Gone up a dress size! to ask for an early scan.

Had very strong positive test at 4 days before AF was due and had m sickness since 3.5 weeks in varing degrees.

Or am I being a silly?

Jersey - Its a common misconception that an early bump is a "baby-bump".... it's got be bloating!! The uterus doesn't move out of the pelvis until 12wks.

BUT

I still think you're having twins....

Don't worry about it yet. If you are expecting dts you are going to get mightily sick of all the trips up the hospital so try to relax for now. The bump prob water rentention for now, as it is impossible to show this early.

jersey... are you unsure of your dates? it's definitely worth a chat with the midwife, and she can have a feel around... just in case you are further on than you think!

Are you going to the loo as most early bumps are caused by not going to the loo enough.

jersey · 21/11/2005 08:39

Hi jellyjelly, going to loo about every hour, sometimes every half hour!!! Bump does seem to be a bit smaller today, sickness gone completely at the moment , hope it stays away!!
