5 weeks wiped brown blood stomach doesn't feel right am i doomed???....

i'm 40 so know the risks, when we mmc i had that i diarrhoea feeling in my stomach and its not feeling good right now... could be psychological but whatever i feel like a piece of crap right now, just want to curl up in bed and cry but cant as kids need their tea and builders in the house...waaahhhhhhhh

I had the same at about 8 weeks but everything was fine,Im sure when I went to the hospital they said it was an implantation bleed???? ie the embryo was becoming attached to the lining of the womb.My daughter is nearly eight now but I remember the feeling of dread wondering what it was.I went to the early pregnancy unit at the hospital and they did a scan{ i had to be referred by my gp-dont know if this is still the case.

I had bleeding from the vagina at 7 and 9 weeks and all was fine. I also had bleeding at 13 weeks and thought it was from my vagina but was from my urethra. i'd be making sure it was from vagina or urethra though as could be a uti.

I had bleeding for more than a fortnight at around 5 weeks. It was brownish, pinkish in colour and i thought i was having a miscarriage. I remember i was in tears with worry. It was actually implantational bleeding and i went on to give birth to my healthy twin girls.

Same happended to me with ds1 (now 6) terrifying - started as brownish colour, went to hospital (we were on holiday) and once there had a big bleed...really thought had m/c, but hadn't - all was fine....get it checked out but don't immediately panic - good luck xxxx

I'm currently pregnant with my first baby. I had light brown bleeding at 5 weeks, 8 weeks and I've woken up this morning with yet more bleeding at 11+2 weeks. I had also had a heavy feeling low down the first time. I know exactly how you feel!!!
I've had three scans already and everything has been ok. My dad is an obstetrician, which has been helpful as I can call him up. Even then I've totally crapped myself each time!!
I know he would say that if it's just light bleeding and brown then don't worry as said before it is likely to be implantation bleeding.
My thoughts are with you at what I know is a very difficult time.

Brown blood is old blood, so the possibility is that you are not actually bleeding, and that this is from your last period.

I'm so sorry to hear that and I'm sending you lots of hugs. It may still be worth contacting your GP to be totally sure.
