Bugaboo Bee+ Any good off road? Need a carrycot?

Hello, I'm thinking about getting a Bugaboo Bee+ but am not sure if it will be up to occasional walks across a grassy park and off-road dog walking.

Also, for a newborn is it better to have a flat bassinet/carrycot? Although the Bee says its suitable for newborn it doesn't lie 100% horizontal and I don't think it has a detachable carrycot. Is it better to get a detachable carrycot for a newborn? Are they useful?

Can anyone with experience offer any advice?

Thank you!

Baby nest is fine for newborn, lovely and snug.

If your doing a lot of off road I would choose a different pram. It's more of a city pram, nippy, on on buses etc.

I have one for that reason.

Hi,
I wanted to use the cocoon as it means I can put baby in and out without using the straps that you need to use with the bugaboo nest. I found those straps a pain when DD was tiny as if she feel asleep in the pram she'd always wake when I had to get her unstrapped.

Last time, after the nest, I didnt get a bugaboo foot muff but ordered a bespoke one from Snunkie which was great and different and cheaper!
