Belly Bands - a god send!

Just wanted to let you all know that I have bought one of those 'belly bands' that go over the top of your trousers - making your tops appear longer (makes non-mat tops wearable!) and allow you to wear non-mat trousers for longer (as you can leave the top buttons undone, covered with the band).

Not trying to sell the things but really they are good! I am now wearing a pair of jeans I have not been able to get on for over 5 weeks, with the top button undone but the band covering it all up.............I bought mine from a girl in Australia via Ebay for about £8 (inc postage!)

She has loads more up for sale and I really can't recommend them enough!

Pashminas are wonderful...altho mine are not wraps, just scarves so doubt they will go round my huge belly....but wonderful food for thought as I am sick of my trousers and skirts falling down...I seem to have a higher bump this time round.

i used to just cut a tshirt off just below the armpits - bought cheapie tshirts ( with some stretch!) in a few colours and that did the trick too

harry duley makes them too, with cute embroidered spiders. i still wear mine & baby is 4.5 months .

enid, i had one of my pashminas on today.... wrapped it round dd as an impropmtu blanket. she seemed to approve (or at least didn't throw up on it).
