OK, so as I have been eating like a pig eating well to ensure my babies have enough nutrients, my thighs are rubbing together Blush and it hurts!!! What to do - any miracle cures / ideas (apart from eating lettuce for the duration?!)

I think talc may be the answer!

sazzermol · 03/06/2011 10:54

You can get a 'chafing' (sp?) gel to stop the rubbing it's in a yellow tube but can't remember the name sorry. Or invest in some cycling shorts!

Wombat33 · 03/06/2011 11:29

Vaseline Grin

PinkFondantFancy · 03/06/2011 12:25

Hehe talc has become my best friend!! Grin although I need to work out how to subtly reapply during the day....

pregnantpause · 03/06/2011 12:27

talc- and when desperate and if outer wear allows- mens boxers. the shorts stop thighs touching- and therefore no more rubbing! Blush

silverangel · 03/06/2011 12:52

Right, I'm off to buy me some talc!! At least with a winter pregnancy I wouldnt have run into this one:)

Lanacane chafing gel - sold in Sainsburys etc - fab!

Glowbuggy · 03/06/2011 14:06

Thankgod I'm not the only one with this problem. I thought I'd have to avoid dresses for the summer!

silverangel · 03/06/2011 14:39

I've been to Boots and found the Lanacane anti-chafing gel - genius stuff.

I now have trotter feet, sausage fingers and chafing thighs - oh the joys!

Is this actually pregnancy related or just due to weight gain?
I lose weight when pregnant.
NB I'm obese so thighs rubbing together is nothing new. Blush Grin

silverangel · 03/06/2011 15:23

In my case - weight gain due to eating like a piglet and doing no exercise because pregnant!

The trotter feet and sausage fingers are pregnancy related swelling though.
