Baby's movement slowed down

Hey girls,

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and my baby has been pretty active at certain times of the day for about two weeks but he's slowed right down now and I don't feel him very often. Is this normal? I have a low-lying placenta too, so could this make a difference? He went berserk on Tuesday and since then, it feels like he tired himself out and has gone quite quiet. I still feel some kicks, but they're not as strong. Has anyone else had this? xxxx

As ever, with reduced movement its best to get over to the midwives and get yourself checked. I have had days over the last few weeks (now 20+5) where LO has been quiet, but I think that's because he's been turned sideways. This might be the case for you, but best to be sure! Good luck Smile

Go and get yourself checked. Always better to be safe than sorry and the mw's really won't mind.

This is normal later on when there's not much room left, but at 23 weeks it's something you should have checked out, if only to put your mind at rest. Definitely call the MW/GP/EPU.

Good luck Smile
