Groin cramp shooting down my legs?

Its where the top inside of my legs are on both sides, every time I stand or walk. I have to stop and it makes me gasp out loud. It really hurts Sad had it on and off for the last couple of days and it seems to be getting worse.

I am 39 weeks tomorrow, is this normal and what can I do about it?

Thank you.

I have this too. Would love to think it's linked to imminent labour but suspect it's just the baby lying on a nerve!

Oh it's so uncomfortable isn't it, right at the end? Nerve pain and things like pelvic girdle pain can cause this. PGP in particular causes shooting pains down the inside of your thighs. I found going from sitting to standing and trying to walk without wincing was just impossible.

Are you sitting with your feet flat on the floor, pillow between your knees (in bed too). No opening your legs, moving slowly etc.

I don't know if a physio would serve much purpose at this point. Particularly once dd had properly engaged I ended up having to put up with it.

I have the exact same thing and it's horrible, I can barely walk anywhere without stopping because of my spasamed leg. A support girdle (basically massive tubigrip) may help it's done nothing for me though
I've found baths the best thing so far and co-codamol and rest. Hopefully once baby's out it'll get better!

Thank you all, I am generally sitting with my feet on the sofa which probably doesn't help! Been tucking the quilt in between my legs though.

I actually cried in the midwives room last week but I think she has seem it too many times as she just told me she felt sorry for me but didn't offer any ideas to help.
