Spotting

I am 15 weeks pregnant, noticed a couple of small blood spots when I went to the loo today. No other worrying symptoms.
I have a scan booked for Wednesday, should I wait til then to mention it or should I call the midwife tomorrow.?

For your own peace of mind call the midwife. Having said that some bleeding is not uncommon, I had some and was told not to worry.

Fresh blood (red) or older blood (browy red/brown)?

Fresh red blood, only a little bit.

Hunny I bet you're so worried. I'd give your mw a call for peace of mind or even NHS direct. I had quite heavy red and brown bleeding with ds1 and all was fine. But had just brown spotting which turned into m/c no.4 earlier this year. If you've got no pain, that's definitely a good sign.

am not panicking yet. A little bit of spotting at around 9 weeks too. just wondering if its worth calling midwife in the morning, or will they just tell me to wait til Wednesday.

I'd call the midwife in the morning anyway. My friend has had frequent spotting, she is now 20weeks and baby is fine as was her DD1 when she had it then too.

I too would call the midwife - she won't do much but at least you've told her. I had spotting every two weeks throughout my pregnancy until I was 22 weeks. I had a perfectly gorgeous little boy -but like you I was worried.

How are you today? Did you speak to your mw?

I havent had anymore spotting, feel fine really. I havent spoke to midwife yet. Will call now.
