Possible chest infection at nearly 37 weeks...eek!

I'm finishing my last few days at work before maternity leave (thank goodness) but one of the guys in my team has developed a horrific chest infection complete with wheezing, hacking death rattle coughing fits. He has been taking antibiotics, but they didn't shift it. I have been trying not to go near him, but today I have started coughing and feeling a bit short of breath. I don't think it will harm the baby, but labour is not going to be much fun with a death rattle cough is it? :(

I had a chest infection at 36 weeks when I was pregnant with DS. My GP gave me a week of antibiotics and when they didn't shift it he gave me a further week at a stronger dosage and that sorted it.

Plenty of fluids, take it easy, and go to the docs to get something to try shift it - hopefully it'll be gone before baby gets here :)
