Any mums in Leicestershire (LRI) - 12wk scan apointment

Can anyone tell me how long after booking in with the MW they got their appointment for 12wk scan. (I'm in Charnwood and the scan will be at the LRI). It seems ages since we booked in and I've heard nothing - hoped for a scan date next week before we go away on hols!

Hi there. I had my booking at 9+ weeks and it took at least 2 weeks for the letter to come through only giving a few days notice before the scan date. I had my scan at 12+6 in the end.

I had my booking at 11 weeks and didn't have my scan until 11th Jan - unfortunately I was 14+2 then so it was too late for the nuchal. I was a bit annoyed as I rang them the week before to say it's going to be pushing it for the nuchal but they fobbed me off saying it would be fine, and then it was too late! I guess with Christmas/New Year and all the bank holidays things got delayed, but I got the impression they weren't very organised.

I would ring them and explain you're going on holiday and see if they have anything booked for you yet.

I've been trying to contact the MW this week, but the only number I have is my GP surgery to leave a message and she's only there 2 days a week so there's been no point.
I can't find a number for the Community Midwife office anywhere and the GP surgery can't help! I should have asked when I booked in, Doh!

just got the appointment yesterday, but it was while we we're going to be away on hols (we gave them those dates but never mind). Phoned up and got it changed this morning so all sorted now. Thanks for your help.
