Marne. Of course check with pharmacist or your GP/MW, but I was allowed to take paracetamol when pg. Can I suggest steaming, if you do this throughout your cold, it should help to keep your nose clear, its good for your chest too and will help prevent anything like sinusitus developing. I don't think you can take any actual 'cold remedys' like lemsip etc as they have a decongestant in as well as paracetamol. I love making my own hot honey & lemon anyway.

I hope you get rid of it pronto!

Thanx mandymac, hot honey and lemon is a good idea.

Have just had this really sinus-y cold and cough thing too. Doc suggested co-codamol which is just paracetamol and codeine but is much better at taking away bad stuffy headaches than paracetamol alone. It is safe when pregnant. I used it with dd1 too. It makes a big difference particularly when you feel at your worst in the evening and in the morning.
