A Question About My Notes, Maybe One For Any Midwives About?

At my last appointment, the consultant wrote in my notes under 'presentation' 'C', which presumably means cephalic. Then in the column that says 'presentation' she has written 'f'. Does anyone know what this means please? (It's driving me nuts not knowing! )

Could it be F for 'free'? i.e. not engaged?

Thanks for answering. I was 33+1 at the scan. I guess it could mean that, although I had wondered if it also could mean 'fixed' as in is engaged? It's my 6th baby and my others were nearer 37 than 40 weeks when born.

I wish I'd asked....

In my notes F always meant free. I only know that because she kind of said everything as she wrote it down so that I knew what it all meant.
