I had my first proper pram shopping trip with my mum and dad today (Husband decided to steer clear!)
I managed to push one model around the shop but only once the assistant had taken the seat out. was WAY too freaked out when the thing was fully assembled.

It's all rather exciting though

I've been on two so far. Almost decided on an Out n About nipper but haven't quite managed to take the plunge and order it yet. I still feel might be a bit early at 27 weeks? Did you see anything you liked or is it all still a mystery!?

we've had the quinny buzz recommended so that was what we were looking at. Can't decide between 3 and 4 wheels so hoping to find somewhere that stocks both that we can have a test drive of!

That said last night my husband had a bit of a freak out about how much money it costs (despite the fact it's a present from my folks) so we might be back at the drawing board again!

Rootatoot - I am also 27 weeks and trying to decide between 2 now. The Baby Jogger City Mini or the Quinny Zapp Xtra...both have things I love about them, DH says 'you just choose dear' ahhhh wish he would help me decide.
KatyN - I would suggest you make a list of the things you want the pram to be for example ours was - Very Light (we have steps to navigate), okay enough for 5'4'' me and 6' DH to push, easy to fold and small when folded (limited space in house), Under £X, and reasonably priced accessories (or ones that come with it are even better). This so helps you when you are surrounded by prams in a shop and you get soooo confused. Having my planned list meant I could ignore the travel systems they are all too heavy/bulky for our needs (and usually too expensive too).

Is exciting though, with DD1 11 years ago I had no money at all and got a second hand one from a friend (I was very grateful!) so this time it's nice to choose exactly what I like.

I got mine in March although im not due until early Ausust, i got one from Mamma and Pappas the Zoom in black. Was a bagain was £269 reduced from £430 so thats why decided to get it then and i am glad i did as they let me pay it off in installments which was a massive help, i knew as soon as i saw it that was the one for me, it was love at first push LOL. :)

We looked at 11w pg but we're planning to buy one at 25w ish. I'm expecting twins so want to do it all while I can still get around. Now I've fallen for the new Mountain Buggy that's not out until July. Let's hope it's not late as the twins may arrive with no pushchair.
