i am 39 weeks and am very very irritable currently. Right now, the cat looking at me funny can make me crazy!

Baby dropped more than a week ago, and the pelvis discomfort is getting worse.

What say you wise MNetters think? Is this just end of pregnancy discomfort or any chance labour is imminent?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Possibly, I was very irritable on the day I went into labour (went in the evening and saw midwife in the morning who wrote in my notes I was having 'period pains!') and I was upset about it all day as well as being really moody and agitated by everything when labour started.

Good luck! xx

I'm 41 weeks now, and have been pissed off for about six weeks.

maybe or perhaps you are just a grumpy old bag! Grin

Maybe - I yelled at my mum and dh the day I went into labour with ds2. I was bitch from hell to everybody all day. The minute I was left alone my waters broke, and ds was born 11 hours later.
However - as elf said , I don't think I was in the best of moods anyway!

I clearly have turned into Rachel from Friends when she goes overdue.

Great! Irritability could last weeks. Sigh. Grin

When I had DD1 I was in a foul mood all day and snapped at everyone.

If that is how it goes then I have been in early labour for atleast a month now Wink

Well, I'm 40+6 and my mood has got progressively worse as the wait goes on - I'm liking the idea that a bad mood means that labour will start soon :)
