as long as it is pasteurised, which most is, yes.

Follow the link (or paste into browser - i'm not good at hyperlinks!) for a fab list of all the cheeses that are safe / unsafe to eat during pregnancy....

FWIW, I have always eaten feta during my pregnancies, (never thought to check whether pasteurised or not as assumed all feta's are safe), and have not suffered any ill effects. Enjoy!!

absolutely safe!

I've been looking into this online as I'm off to Greece next week and LOVE greek salad - reports seem fairly mixed, I think as long as it is pasteurised then it is OK. Unfortunately won't be able to check when in a restaurant but may well just go for it anyway!

Well, I hope so as am in Greece and have been stuffing my face with it! all feta in Europe has to be pasteurised. Unless you're eating it somewhere they've made it themselves, you'll be fine...

Some feta in Waitrose is unpasteurised.
