Congratulations - no personal experience, but Jools Oliver's book might be useful as she had her first 2 a year apart.

Congratulations!

I am also on my 4th pregnancy! Only had 11 months between DD and DS1 (currently about to turn 5 and 4). DS2 is 10 months, and should be about 13 months when baby no. 4 arrives (depending on timing!)

TBH I have actually found the 3 year gap between DS1 and 2 harder than having them close together - with a small gap you haven't had time to get out of the whole 'baby stage' so it's less of a shock! And now the older 2 are 5 and 4 they play brilliantly together. How old are your older 2 kids?

congrats to you - we as women down play the art of coping really well!
im on dc4 or dc5 and ds is 16mths! wotever get thrown my way me and dh will just have to cope!
having the love and support from your loved ones will help lighten the load!

all the best xxx

My dd is 8 and dd is 5 they fight like cat and dog but other than that very good kids

I just worry about bath time feeding times and my little onewill be just starting to walk when this baby (touch wood) gets here

But I think your right it will all fall into place :0)

I have a 15 month age gap between son and twin daughters they are now 4 and nearly 3 and I now have 4 week old twin sons. The smaller age gap was nice cos we weren't out the baby stage and they now all play nice together but the bigger age gap is nice as the girls are little miss independant so like to get themselves dresses etc etc.

I had a 15 month gap between dd and ds, it was very hard work but fun and they're very close. It got the 'nappy days' all done and dusted and they went to school one after the other which was fab, that said i'm now pg with ds2 and would not do the same again !!

There is just 11 months between two sets of sisters in my school. They have no problems relating to each other and play very nicely. I'm beginning to think that it's probably better if you like to keep the whole sibling-fighting thing to a minimum. Rather strange when the younger girls have their birthday 2/3 weeks before their older sisters. For a short while they're the same age.

A few years ago I had two brothers in the same year group. One was September born and the other August. The younger one was put into the year group below three days after starting at my school for a lot of reasons!

Congrats! My DH's family is like this. SIL1 and SIL2 are eleven months apart, with BIL coming 13 mos after that! Shock and then five years later, DH. :o

Hiya, there is 19 mnths between DS1 and DD1. There will be 14 mnths between DD1 and this baby.
That means we will have 3 under 3's.
Even though number 3 wasn't planned, I think it should be easier in the long run for them all getting over the nappy statge, and sleepless nights? I hope !
Also, my perminatly pregnant body will have a break!! Shock
My only worry is finding 2 cheap cars in the next 3 months, that will fit 3 toddlers in . ( with no money to spare) Hmm
