Cramping at 19+3

Hi all,

Am currently 19w 3days with DC2 and for the last day or so have been having cramping in my lower abdomen, around where the top of your knickers would sit. It's kind of a dull ache, there all the time, but at random moments will turn stabby.

No bleeding, no discharge, no other symptoms, have heard heartbeat on my doppler so hoping it is just stretching pains.

Anyone else had similar and can shed any light?

Many thanks.

i get this too, and terrible stabby pains in same place when I walk too much, or too fast (or at all!) i think it just stretching. friend of mine suggested one of those bump band things as it helps your hips, and I have to make sure I walk slow now :)

what doppler have you got? i think I am going to get one, I keep freaking out since I read about Kelly Brook

Hey hb :)

Just realised I'm 20+3 not 19 Blush Keep forgetting my dates!

I have this doppler it is really good and I managed to pick up the heartbeat from about 13 - 14 weeks. In fact it's trickier now as baby moves about so much more now Grin

I know, I keep thinking of Lily Allen, Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook and it freaks me out and reminds me I am by no means safe yet. Scan is on Friday so don't want to panic unnecessarily but it just sends me a bit loopy when it hurts so much. The pains aren't in my sides or anything, just low down near my pubic area, it hurts to press it and lean forwards.

it may be round ligament pain, but check with midwife.
