"There's a House inside my Mummy" is great!

Seconded?? Sounds depressing. Who's the author?

We are in the same position as you, and have had "Little Rabbit's New Baby" - Harry Horse out of the library a lot recently. Will get something more gender specific when we know the sex.

I found most of the books for children on the matter terribly twee. In the end we got "I want a sister" by Tony Ross ("Little Princess" series), which my daughter loves, it doesn't go into too much detail and is more about that we can't choose whether it's a sister or a brother but that having either is ace.
