Is anyone taking a veggie Omega 3 supplement?

I never did but I just bought Quorn 'fish fingers' which have Omega 3 from algae in them so you could develop a craving for fish finger butties!

My kids are very bright despite my lack of supplements...my brain is, however, quite frazzled .

Yeah I did start off with that however they now make me feel sick :-S

I'm taking the veggie omega 3 capsules, but I have to make sure I take them with food, otherwise spend the entire day being able to taste the flaxseed, which is not that pleasant. So now I take them between my banana and cereal in the morning, and usually this is OK. No idea if they're any really doing any good... but at least I feel I'm trying.

I'm taking an algae based omega 3 supplement, I read that the flax based ones aren't ideal in pregnancy. I take them in the evening at the same time as pregnacare. Obviously I have no idea whether they're doing any good though!

mainlymaynie that's what I'd heard, what make is it your taking? And where did you get them from?

I don't think I am - I'm taking Sainsbury's homebrand mums-to-be vitamin supplements.
they've got loads of B vitamins, C, K, calcium, iron etc.
but I don't think they've got omega 3 in.

In fact, I've never knowingly taken omega 3 - just relying on it being in sufficient quantities in the food I eat.
