Hi, I don't post often but enjoy reading the threads. I have just discovered I am pregnant with my 4th child! I am kind of scared and excited in equal measure - the pregnancy is not planned and our 3 other children are under 8.
All of my friends and family have a sensible number of children (1 or 2) and I could really do with hearing some happy large family stories. Hope there is some people out there who can help! x

Congratulations.

Quis - unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom or experiences to share as I'm currently 34w with DC1, just wanted to send my congratulations and watch intently as DP has told me he wants 4 children! :)

Thank you lljkk - I'll have a look.
Thank you and congratulations WiiUnfit - having your first child is the most exciting and magical time!

I am nearly 30wks with #4. I can't wait!

The others drive me crackers, but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Congratulations Grin

I'm 7 weeks with no. 4 too........congratulations!

A little different for me as my eldest two are much older: ds1 is 21, ds2 is 20 and dd is nearly 5.

I thought I was done with children after ds2, but got divorced and met my dh. We had THE talk, said we didn't want any more (he has a dd already too) and then we both promptly changed our minds within 24 hours Grin!

Congrats! I had 4 in 6 years and absolutely love it, wouldn't change it for the world :)

I would love to have 4 - 32wks pg with no. 3 but as I've just turned 40 and have had a difficult pg with this one, am going to call it a day (I think!!). One of my friends has 5 and the other one has 6 and they couldn't be happier. Congratulations and good luck!

ILoveDrKarl · 16/05/2011 12:45

Congratulations! Slightly different scenario here as my last pregnancy was planned, but we got a shock when we found out it was twins! So we went from 2 to 4 with the eldest being 5 1/2 and the middle one being just short of 3 when the twins arrived. Life is hard work with 4 - I won't kid you on that, but it's great and as I am 1 of 5 I am used to big families!

I loved being child number 4 - would love 4 myself but may have trouble persuading dh. 4 is Lovely! Enough to quietly slip out the side of the crowd or be pArt of the noise. No complaints about having 3 siblings. Best thing my parents have done for us was to have 4!

Northernrose · 16/05/2011 21:22

Congratulations Quis and all the best with your pregnancy! I am currently 35 wks with dc2 and would love 4 dc but am taking nothing for granted!
I am the fourth of four kids and absolutely love it - always have and always will. It's fab! All the best Grin
