Am currently 34+2

Sat night I couldn't sleep - felt sick (didn't actually vomit) and had a really sore stomach. Lots of Braxton Hicks, really tight and sore bump. Yesterday felt the same, had to goo to the loo (TMI: not diarrhea, but close). Very sore stomach. Last night, same symptoms but period-like pain (in waves) and low aching back.
This morning I feel queasy and have a sore stomach (especially when going to the loo, either kind) but no more contractions than usual (just BH).

I have a GP appointment anyway booked for this morning, so thankfully will be seen then but I've almost convinced myself it's early labour. Last time I was pregnant was a total disaster - 32 week scan showed that DTD1 had died in utero, so EMCS booked for the next day. That night (night before EMCS) I had very similar symptoms that did turn into stress-induced labour.

I know it sounds silly but pre-term labour is simply not convenient for me right now! I really wanted this baby to go as close to term as possible, I'm not ready for it and I have some v important stuff to do this week. Please reassure me that it's all OK!

Thank you. Docs appointment at half past so hopefully she'll laugh at me and tell me I'm being silly.

Sounds like the little one is on his way. Unfortunately baby doesn't understand "not convenient right now"!!!
Hope everything goes ok at your GP appointment.
Good luck with everything hun. Smile x

Thank you. Keep your fingers crossed, I really want for this baby not not have to need special care. I hated it so much last time. :(

Sorry for taking so long to update, Ive had to go to a meeting...

Went to GP. She was concerned, so sent me to hospital. Midwives concerned, so sent for a doctor, doc thinks it is just a stomach but resulting in irritable uterus, but to keep an eye out. This evening has been much better than yesterday, so hoping this is the case.

Thanks all for your support. :)

Loopy, my friend had same thing the last two weeks. She is preggers on number 4.. OB said go take it easy, hard with 3 kiddies but better than pre term or bed rest for 3more months!

Thanks all.

No contractions last night but was sick a couple of times. Pretty scary actually, woke up being sick. Don't think that's ever happened to me before and freaked me out.

Feeling fine though this morning. :) All very odd. I'm not convinced it's a stomach bug. Do bugs disappear (pretty much) in the day time?
