Morning ladies, apologies for this post especially so early in the morning! I'm currently 38 + 2, with second DC and when I went to the toilet this morning there was a lot of discharge, approx 2 teaspoons. It was a yellow/green colour, milky not clear and thick, looks like exactly what would come out my nose if I had a bad cold. Nothing like my "show" in first pregnancy which was clear streaked with blood.anyone have experience of this? Is it a show or should I give midwife a call? Thanks all!

That doesn't sound like a show. I would give the MW a quick call and just mention that its green. Hope everything is ok

I had a show in my first labour which was really thick, a proper little plug of mucus! Gross. Call your midwife just to check, she'll know the healthy range of colours!! x Good luck. x

Thanks for the replies, midwife just rang back didn't seem overly concerned, asked if I had temp (no) if waters had gone (no) then just said to attend my appointment on Thursday as planned and they will take a swab to check for infection. Didn't seem to think it was a show if it was this colour! Thanks again.
