Chicken pox exposure

I have just had a friend call and say her daughter has chicken pox, I had lunch with them on Thursday. I am 37 weeks and have had chicken pox twice so am pretty sure it's nothing to worry about but was wondering if I need to contact a doctor/midwife for advice.

What do you think?

Yes, advice is to contact your midwife. It is most dangerous closer to due date, so I'd make it a priority in the morning, especially as you've had it twice. Don't panic though, it will all be fine. :)

my dd and dp had it when i was pg but i was around 10 - 12 weeks i think and i was advised it was fine not to worry but as your almost due just check as it could be totally different advice.

You should have the right antibodies if you've had it before, which limits the risk. It's important to tell you midwife though as chicken pox is a risk at certain stages of pg.
