Bleeding at 4+6?

hi ladies,

Looking for advice and reassurance here...

I'm 4+6 and haven't yet been to the GP to mention the pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy so it's all new and a little bit scary. I've just noticed some light bleeding while I was in the loo; pink and pale and only on wiping. Should I be worried about this? What are my options? I'm not in any pain but have the usual early pg aches, no change from any other day so far. We did have sex this morning and I've read it can cause a bit of bleeding.

So... Do I just wait and see what happens? Presumably the hospital wouldn't do anything? Would this make me a candidate for an early scan? Should I retest with a digi in a few days to check the date reading?

DH is going overseas for a month tomorrow so I really don't want to worry him unnecessarily. Any advice appreciated...

I think it's more than likely that the sex has caused a little bleeding. It's very common for that to happen. Keep an eye on it but it doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

Sorry, didn't mean that to sound so brusque. Blush. But I'm sure it's fine. Early pg is such a worry, I know how you feel x

Hi, you are right the doctor couldn't do anything anyway, I'm afraid it's a case of wait and see........... Like Gwen said, sex can upskittle implantation bleeding, try not to worry x

Thanks much for replying, and of course you're both right. It's hard not to fret! Will be checking all night now.

I just wanted to say that the bleeding did calm down very quickly and everything seems to be ok. Thanks for the kind words.
