Hi
I am 11w1d and don't have my scan for another week and two days.

I have been feeling awful, so sick and tired from six weeks...until yesterday. Now I feel completely, totally normal.

Am very worried. I had a mc at 7 weeks and have felt paranoid every minute of every day of this pregnancy so far.

I had a 'reassurance' scan at 10w 3d ie last week and everything was fine...little heart was beating away... I just have woken up with this awful certainty that something has gone wrong and don't feel pregnant at all.

I have read however that once you see a HB after 10 weeks you're unlikely to miscarry. Has anyone else heard this?

Thanks xx Sorry to sound pathetic, I can't describe how paranoid I've been.

Hi Camilla

My sickness was pretty consistent for 12 weeks or more then started to get better but it was a case of some days feeling totally fine (and not pregnant) and then other days back again, until it stopped completely. This took a few weeks off the sicky feeling going on and off. I think if the main symptom of your pregnancy has been the feeling sick, then once that goes, you will have a lull where you won't feel pregnant. I'm sure you'll be fine if you saw the heartbeat just a few days ago, you have had no bleeding etc. Try not to worry.

Please don't worry - seeing a heartbeat at 10 weeks is a very good sign!

I had a similar experience - 1st pregnancy, no morning sickness no symptoms and MMC at 8 weeks with this one I had VERY MILD to almost non existent nausea and pretty much not many other symptoms but saw baby + heartbeat at 9 weeks and just had a 17 week scan and everything is fine.

Lack of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean anything :) cheer up and try to think about all the fun baby stuff and not worry too much (I know easier said than done - I have major baby paranoia ;)
Fingers crossed and big hugs - it will be OK! :)

Oh and just to reassure you I spoke to the dr yesterday and told him that I am nervous coz I really don't feel pregnant sometimes and he said it's absolutely normal - he called it the "silent" period when you're feeling better, don't have much of a bump and can't feel baby moving yet so really the only way to know it's in there is at the scan :)
