Ok so I'm 35 weeks and having an induction
tomorrow due to my waters breaking on Thursday. I was contracting every 3 minutes but the have now died down. Since then I've not really felt my little on moving. Is this normal? Can anyone explain why ? Plus I am getting very anxious about the labour now :( was crying this morning just want her to be perfect x

you need to phone midwife team to get advice - I suspect they will get you to come in for monitoring.

ps I went in several times for monitoring and the midwives don't mind at all (it's a good thing if all id ok! they would prefer to see you and all is well!)

I second that. Get on the phone and set your mind at rest. Good luck hon x

It's all scary especially when you know it's coming. My DH had to drag me to the hospital for my induction as I was hysterical. Is it you first? Perhaps the fear of the unkown taking over?

You are in the best place, buzz for a midwife and ask for a trace to put you at ease.

Good luck

If your waters have gone it will be much more difficult for baby to move. However, it's probably best to ring the midwife/DAU/labour ward and ask to go in to be assessed even just for your peace of mind. No need to be sat worrying!

If you're in hospital thinking this, you need to talk with the professionals in the hospital :)

its normal to have reduced fetal movement once the waters have gone, as its harder for them to move. Mention it to the MW though if you're worried, they won't mind putting your mind at rest
