Vouchers....where shall I ask work for ?

Im due to go off for maternity leave in 6 weeks and got told today that work have collected quite a " considerable collection". Grin how nice !!
They want to get me vouchers but I dont know where to ask for. Mothercare are crap ( in my opinion ) but I would still like to have the vouchers to spend on things for baby. I have nearly everything, but dont have a moses basket or monitor yet and I'm sure there will be more that I need.

What would you ask for ?? What has a nice range and does most things ?

John Lewis is a favourite of mine. Decent baby range, but you aren't restricted to baby stuff if you've got everything you need! Smile

My 2 extremes already mentioned !

Definitely go for JL and avoid Mothercare like the plague !

Ooh yes JL I didnt think of that. I might consider that actually.
Someone else just mentioned babies r us ?? They have quite a lot apparently. I havent looked at their website though.

Or Boots would be another option, then if you don't use them all buying stuff before baby's born you can always use them on nappies etc afterwards, or a good under-eye concealer for yourself!!!

Another John Lewis fan here - their children's clothes are lovely too. Plus a good website, and as an added bonus you could always spend them in waitrose if you've got one near you.

I spent loads of John Lewis vouchers on baby stuff - really good especially if you wait for a sale.
I would say not Babys 'r'us. I'm sure some of their stuff is good but most of it looks cheap - I would rather buy clothes in supermarkets than in there.

I got boots vouchers when I left work, they were great because I used some on clothes and the rest on essentials, oh and essentials included lovely bath items for myself.

Amazon might be a useful one! :)

DoubleDiffedDachs · 14/05/2011 07:12

Mamas and papas another one to consider, although JL also good! :)

definitely JL lots of lovely things you wouldn't necessarily buy yourself for baby, toys, clothes, nursery stuff, pram accessories, change bags etc. I'd say JL everytime.
